In the Super Challenge, Solfrid often poses a "mini-challenge" so I have decided to blatantly rip-off, steal, swipe, pillage, and pinch her idea and pose a mini-challenge for the OC in March.

If you want to take up the mini-challenge you can do either the audio portion or the written portion, or if you're a glutton for punishment, you can do both.

Audio Challenge: Find a short fairy tale in your target language and record yourself reading it.

Written Challenge: Write a fairy tale, it can be as long or short as you want, but please post it here please for us to enjoy!

You beat me! I had just started writing a fable in Georgian. Not sure I will finish it this month, though.

Not sure how I'll get on with this, but will give it a go :) In preparation I have found
a list of Croatian fairy tale
vocabulary
on Memrise.

I've completed the writing part of the March challenge now and written a fairy-tale about a lonely dragon called Boris.

I've posted it here on my log
with a translation.

It's taken me ages to write and correct but has definitely been a valuable experience :)

Can I register to the writing only challenge and later expand it to the full one if I see
fit?

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is keeping themselves busy with the Output Challenge? I am leading by example... bad example that is. I haven't completed last months mini-challenge, and I know a couple of other people need more time as well. So you can do these mini-challenges any time one takes your fancy, and you can post the result here. If you didn't complete the challenge last month, you can still do it now and share this month. Congratulations to Radioclare for the amazing fairytale she wrote and included in her log. If you haven't read it, I recommend it.

The March Mini-challenge was:
Audio Challenge: Find a short fairy tale in your target language and record yourself reading it.
Written Challenge: Write a fairy tale, it can be as long or short as you want

The April Mini-Challenge is instructions for your fellow human beings. Figure out something you're good at, or want to research or learn how to do, then teach all of us! So for example if you are really good at baking then write out a recipe in detail for one of your specialities. Or if you want to describe how to change a light-bulb go for it. However you'll want to pick something you can speak or write about in detail. This month I'm challenging you to up the numbers.

Here it is the April Mini-challenge:
Audio and/or Written Challenge: Create an instructional video, audio dialogue, or a written manual which gives "How To" instructions. This can be on any subject from how to build a multi-hulled catamaran, to how to change a battery in a remote control. The audio/video must be at least 30 minutes long, and written instructions must be at least 750 words!

Good luck everyone!
