Weeks 11th and 12th are gone by. I had a great time and was happily busy so I do not regret to report that my study was limited to 3 miserable minutes. Yes, it was that fun! Anyway, I adjusted my schedule a little bit and there we go with...
13th week results - Menschen A1.1 textbook: 10/12 lessons studied - Menschen A1.1 book of exercises: 9/12 lessons studied - Grammatik Intensivtrainer A1 8/37 lessons studied - Das Idealpaar: 8/15 stories read - New vocabulary in Anki: TBC flashcards this week (852 in total) - Time of study: 1h 49min this week (33h 14min in total) I am cheating a little bit with my time of study. I should regard it as 'regular training' since I occasionally hold written and face-to-face conversations. Incidentally, not only was difficult to retrieve my former study schedule because of having broken the routine, but also because things I already sticked into my head blurred. I think I'll need more time to fully achieve my goal and have hence decided to extent this log. There is no need of rushing things providing that we enjoy them, isn´t it? Two facts are to be pointed out at this stage. Firstly, my time of study is significantly shorter than expected. Secondly, I have kept hitting the books nearly every week during the last few months. Although I improve at a snail pace, I nonetheless keep improving and feel more confident, albeit this happens slowly.
Next week I'll finsh Menschen A1.1 (both textbook and exercises book). A friend of mine may join an A2 level Goethe Institute course in 2016. I sped up this week! Although I have studied less than 4 hours this week, this is my best recorded time in eleven weeks. Menschen A1.1 books are finished and I will now get Menschen A1.2 books. In the meantime my focus will be on vocabulary, my grammar book and my grammar A1 exercises book.

This week has been a good one as well. I already have Menschen A1.2 books and aim to tackle them next week. I also got one book and one audio book. I feel I need to practise my listening and output skills since I start to cope well with simple grammar and even A2 level reading. I got two B1 audiobooks, although I suspect they will still be out of my understanding. Worths a try though.

I often study quite a lot on Sunday. Yesterday I was ill and spent the day lying in bed so I couldn´t hit the books. Apart from that, I adquired new books this week, namely Hueber's "Präpositionen (15 Deutsch Üben)" and two short stories compilations: "Das Wunshaus" and "Veronikas Geheimnis". This is because I already finished "Das Idealpaar", which I recommend to everybody trying to learn German. Both new short stories books are probably too difficult for me to tackle at this stage. I will take it easy!

This week I've focused on listening, vocabulary and writing. I'm watching "Extra" on Youtube as for the first one. Of course I'm listening to music in German as well, although I never count on it as study time. Regarding my vocabulary, I adjusted Anki to review more words rather than learning new ones, since I felt my passive vocabulary is good but the working one was shrinking. As for the latter, I'm writing some small texts I submit to Lang-8 afterwards. Although writing isn´t easy, I do feel I can now compose reasonably good sentences and put them together to shape small texts.
