If whomever owns the domain has it set to auto renew then this is a non issue. I wouldn't be worried

Yep, I told you, but that in itself is not as satisfactory as it might seem ; )
Actually the forum is not down yet, only 'parked', so you can still access the forum by changing your hosts file yet again. Just crank up notepad or any text editor and add "217.197.210.169 how-to-learn-any-language.com" to it. Google: instructions on where to find the 'hosts' file and how to change it (but check the wikipedia, really -- the article there looks good and you need to know about this). What can I say...
