Do you have any advice for someone who is interested in acquiring reading proficiency in Latin? Books, grammars, etc. My goal would only be to be able to read and not translate. I would like an approach which is more vacualary rather than grammar oriented.
If you have experience in this regard, I would be glad to hear from you.

I suggest you look at this Forum at TextKit, where there are a lot of discussions about learning Latin and Ancient Greek. Good luck with your Latin.
