Are there any Spanish textbooks that use the same approach as in Hans Ørberg's "Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata" or
"LA LINGUA ItalianA PER STRANIERI"?

These books use the natural/communicative approach to learn languages. Explanations are only given in the target
language and at the end of each chapter there are some exercises on the grammar, which was included in the chapter
(cf. https://www.hackettpublishing.com/lingua-latina-per-se-illus trata-series/lingua-latina-pars-i-familia-romana-full-
color-edition).

I have been trying to find a comparable book for Spanish but to no avail.

AFAIK, there are only some very old books that use this method:

Worman -- First Spanish book
Worman -- Second Spanish book

Hall -- Poco A Poco
Hall -- Second Book

BTW, this forum is pretty much dead; most members now post on language-learners.org because of frequent technical problems with this site in the past.

Thanks. Despite being dated or even archaic these books can still be regarded as valuable learning
materials.
