I'm going to be studying abroad in Paris at the Sorbonne for five months this spring, but I would like to supplement my group classes (which I hear are very intense and efficient) with some one-on-one tutoring. My question is where would I go about finding a french tutor for a few hours a week in Paris? Any clues or tips?

get a girl friend as soon as you arrive...Paris is a rich target environment...

I recommend looking up cultural centres and college bulletin boards for private tutors. Many people find language exchange worthless, and a girlfriend won't necessary want to teach you French, or know how to teach.
