Go to www.audible.com/creativity and sign up for the free 30 day trial. They give you 2 credits that you can use to download Learning Spanish Like Crazy and many other language learning audiobooks.

Thanks cokezero000,
the actual link is www.audible.com/creative
I have downloaded LSLC and canceled the contract right afterwards.
Many thanks for sharing the address.
I found out that the German chapter of audible has the same deal:
One free month, with 2 books.
http://www.audible.de/nero/create
Then you can also download the LIYC or Spanish for dummies.
Thanks again for providing this tip!

Hello, I have a couple of questions:
#1
You mention the "German chapter" of the site. It that the whole site in German for German speakers? Or the section on the site containing German learning materials?
#2
I would to check out some German(I suppose language in general) learning materials some time. Which link do you recommend I follow? The first or the second?
danke.

Chapter was the wrong word. It is the German company of audible for German speakers. There is no German learning material since they expect you to know the German language.

For learning material the audible.com is the best, if you want to hear more real German novels I would recommend audible.de. The 2 books a month plan cost $24 for audible.com and only €14 for audible.de (which are $19).
Gern geschehen :)

Audible uses a propriety audio format and to play the LSLC files an mp3 player you have to have one of the mp3 players Audible supports or burn cd images of the files (like 32 CD's) then rip them to mp3.
just in case anyone else was wondering how to get the files onto their mp3 player like I was..

I used a program called noteburner to convert the files to MP3. This program is a virtual cdburner, you simply select this device to burn to and it burns to the virtual drive, rips and encodes to MP3 in one step.
