How about adding a definition for immersion? I get the impression that there are varying ideas of how long immersion experiences should be, how much if any non-target language communication is allowed, whether there should be a certain amount of classroom work or certain amount of interaction with target language speakers, etc.

Using my "Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary":

- immersion in sth = the state of being completely involved in sth
- a two-week immersion course in French (= in which the student will hear and use only French)

ELP * European Language Portfolio
"The European Language Portfolio (ELP) is a document in which those who are learning or have learned a language - whether at school or outside school - can record and reflect on their language learning and cultural
experiences."
