or by PM... parenthesis indicate words I looked up

Hi Lisa,
here is a postcard of my town. It is not very big, but it is nice. Please tell me more
about your town. How many people live in it? What is particularly nice about your town?
Where do you go in the evenings?

John

Okay, so I hope a semester of Mandarin studies here in Sweden would get me somewhere. I think I'm in the same
situation as zerrubabbel, but I'll try anyway.

丽莎你好
这儿是一个明信片的我的城市。不大可是很好 。晴说我更多吧。它有几口人?什么是特别好 ?晚上你在哪儿去?

约翰

Had to look up three words (postcard, more and particularly) and I don't know if I used them correctly.
Would be happy if someone could look into this a make a few comments. I didn't want to make a direct translation
of it (then I would have written 它不大,可是它很好), but I tried to make it as native as I can. I guess I'm nowhere it,
but I hope you can help me getting a step closer.

谢谢

Jean

Itt van a vaarosam egy képeslap. Nem nagyon nagy, de nagyon szép. Legyen sziives, magyaraazz egy legkicsit

Jaanos.

Čeština:

Nazdar Liso,
Mám pohlednice od mého městu. Hodně velký není, ale je pěkný. Prosím, omluv více od tvého. Kolik žije v tomtéž.
Kde jdeš večerem.

Ján

Hallo Lisa,
hier ist eine Postkarte meiner Stadt. Sie ist nicht so groß, sondern sie ist schön. Bitte erzählt mir mehr von deiner
Stadt. Wie viele Leute wohnen darin? Was ist etwas schön nahe deiner Stadt? Wohin gehst du Abends?

Cześć Liso,
to jest pocztówka mojego miasta. Nie bardzo dużym, ale miłym. Ciebie proszę, że mówisz więcej od twoim. Ile

I corrected your text. Corrections are printed in bold.

I would like to post a Russian version, but my Russian isn't good enough yet...

Cześć Liso/Lisa (Vocative is generally not used very often in the ordinary conversations or posts to your friends, though in theory it's a mistake ;) )
oto pocztówka z mojego miasta (that's the postcard from my city). Nie jest zbyt duże, ale bardzo je lubię (It isn't too big, but I like it a lot/very much. Literally it should be: Nie jest bardzo duże, ale miłe/przyjemne, but I wouldn't say like that - you know, sometimes words sound correctly and they are properly declined, but natives somehow don't say it in such way very often. At least I think so ;) ). Proszę, powiedz mi coś więcej o Twoim mieście/Powiedz mi, proszę, coś więcej o swoim mieście (coś = something). Jak wielu ludzi tam mieszka? (tam = there) Co robisz/porabiasz wieczorami? / Co robicie/porabiacie wieczorami (plural)

Ok, now in Bulgarian, let me try:

Здравей Лиза!
Това е картинка от моя град. Не е много голям, но е приятен/но много го обичам. Колко много хора живее там? Какво особено интересно има там? Какво правиш през вечерта?

Thank you very much. I am so glad I won the prize. I would like to travel to the USA in July because of my job. Will I
be able to see my cousin Ann in Dallas? I know the tour only goes through Houston... Also I would really like to go
swimming in the ocean. I hope there will be time for that.
Yours sincerely,

Michelle Dubois
