I found this site, which seems to have a some good Chinese audio books (Old Man and the Sea, Jane Eyre, Anna Karenina, not sure about some of the rest)   I don't know whether they match any readily available texts for those books, but I will check into it soon.

Added, thanks!
I look forward to hearing if they match texts.

Kealist,

thanks for the link!

When I was trying to play the files, they show 'ready' but do not run. Does any one have the same problem? I was trying the Old man and the sea audiobook.

EDIT: ok so It works under internet explorer but I have a new problem now:-) How can I save the file to my computer? If I right click the player bar, there is no such posibility :-(

Let me give it a try....first mp3 of Old man and the sea is working for me, but I am selecting "download" (下载) rather than playing it in the browser. The site only lets you download one at a time.   I haven't had much success with the player (as my experience with most chinese websites). Hope that is helpful.

I was able to download the first 50 mp3s of Anna Karenina.   It does match exactly the first two chapters of the text I have.   I made a bilingual text of the first book/part of Anna Karenina. I tried L-R for 25 minutes yesterday on it, and I think it will take some getting used to with Mandarin.   Towards the end it was easier to keep my place, but it should get a little easier as time goes on.

Kealist,

Everything working now. Thank you!

I've been looking for the transcripts for the 'Old man and the sea' but couldn't find any literal ones so far.
