Has anybody ever seen audiobooks or something similar in Norwegian?

Yes. I've added links for http://www.fillipmoberg.no/c100245/sammendrag/vis.html?tid=1 00465 and http://www.godteposen.no/godteposen_gratis_lydbok_lest_.html. Searching for lydbok gratis on google finds more things.

I found the site I was thinking of in another thread, it's Logos Library/Wordtheque. It's not a pure audiobook site but it has a few recordings in various languages.

Yes, but the pickings are rather slim. The first thing I was able to find was a Kabbalah site, which has a fairly long audiobook in Turkish at http://www.kabbalah.info/turkishkab/MP3_Makaleler.htm. I'm sure that various other religions have their works available in Turkish as well.

Of the URLs I've gathered that have too many languages to specify, only -one- has even a single Turkish audio clip, Logos Library - and it's very short.

Turkish seems to have 3 words for audiobooks - "audio book", "audiobook", and "mp3 kitap". Unfortunately, I can't find any secular -literature- in Turkish with any of these terms; the last mainly finds spam.

These are the most disappointing search results I've seen so far, sadly. I hope someone else can do better.

Here's what I've got so far:

One of the most common words Turkish has for "audiobook" seems to be "sesli kitap". This website has a selection of secular literature in Turkish, including translations of Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, London, Kafka, and many more. I was able to find a Turkish text for Jack London's "White Fang" that seems to correspond exactly with the recording on the website.

If anyone can find other sites with Turkish audiobooks, it would be much appreciated.

By the way, other than recordings of the Quran, I found zero audiobooks in Arabic.

alexptrans: great, thanks for the link and the term; "sesli kitap" is yielding much better results, though everything seems to lead back to http://www.kultur.gov.tr/seslikitap/.

What do you think of http://www.antoloji.com/siir/sesli_siirler/? It looks to me like it has a -lot- of clips, but very short ones, and I can't easily evaluate the content as I don't speak or understand a significant amount of Turkish.

Is http://www.biribizidurdursun.org/forum/safahat-mehmet-akif-e rsoy-sesli-t3958.html?s=7a96806086fa96072f9a8633b563d30e& ;p=17676 legit?

You're welcome. The first site you mentioned (http://www.antoloji.com/siir/sesli_siirler/) seems to contain poems, and I doubt it will be of much use for learning Turkish. My Turkish is not good enough to understand what the second book you mentioned is about.
