Does anyone know an online book store that sells books in Tagalog and/or Indonesian? Not necessarily books on LEARNING those languages, but literature in those language (both originals and translations). I googled around a bit but the results were extremely discouraging.

For Tagalog, the best that I've been able to find is Kabayan Central. I've never ordered from them, or heard of them before today, but they claim to have over 7100 "Philippine products".
For the sake of reference, here's how I found them. I googled for "tagalog authors", without quotes. This quickly led me to 'bestwebbuys.com'. For Tagalog, there are only 2 books here, although it looks like only one is currently available. The real value, though, is googling on the titles found. Googling on the first quickly leads to Anvil Publishing, which has a list of distributors. I don't see any online shops, but they do all have email addresses. The same process applies for Indonesian, and finds Asia Book Room and Alibris.
I googled for "indonesian authors", found Minangkabaus authors, and googled on the title "Azab dan Sengsara". 1 person has voted this message useful |
