I need some help. I have some audio to Assimil Spanish with Ease, but I
can't figure out which book to buy to go with the audio. I looked inside
one of the books at Amazon.com, but that book was totally different. Well
if anyone could help that'd be great. And thanks in advanced. I have the
transcript to the first lesson that I typed out.
Lección Primera
Buenos días.
Una tapa de tortilla. Por favor.
Si ahora mismo.
Aquí tiene.
Gracias. Adiós.
Eh. Son dos euros.

The audio to "Spanish with Ease" (the one I have) goes like:
-Buenos días, Pablo!
-Ana, qué tal estas?
-Bien. Tú, en cambio. tienes mala cara.
-Sí, estoy un poco preocupado.
-Sabes? Tenía ganas de verte.
-Yo también.
-Quieres comer conmigo?
-De acuerdo. Es una buena idea.

I suspect that you have the audio for L'Espagnol which is the newer Assimil Spanish course for French speakers and not AFAIK available in any other source language.
EDIT: The older course Le novel espagnol sans peine has the same Spanish text as Jeff posted above.

Thanks Andy. That's what I was suspecting at first, but I wasn't sure.
Again, thanks.

If anyone has experience of both courses, which would you say is the better of the two- the older one, or the newer? From reading other posts on Assimil, it is my understanding that most favour the older versions (I am thinking in particular of the Arabic course).

I also have the same audio as brian00321... does anyone know if http://www.buy.com/prod/Spanish-with-ease/q/loc/106/35234492 .html this book well match the audio or will it look like jeff_lindqvist's version?

Nope not it. It's the new French version that just came out this year (Assimil L'espagnol). No doubt. I don't think it'll be too hard to work around though. Just buy a good dictionary, grammar book, and 501 verbs and you should be alright. Maybe it could be a good excuse to start learning French. Oh and if you're hoping for an English version it took them years to translate other versions. So unless if you're really keen on waiting then you pretty much have no other choice.
