I have just bought Assimil French and want to do what Prof.Arguelle does - shadow the text.

I had no idea how to do it until I read your post, so thank you very much

I've tried shadowing two short simple sentences. Though they are all easy words, one combination is rather
awkward and I get stuck almost every time. But I'm going to keep trying until I can say everything as smoothly as
the speaker.

This exercise sounds so simple yet so hard! I must sound crazy to my family! I know only dedicated learners want
to do such a thing!
