Wow, well I could certainly empathize with him getting nervous before using some of his languages. He definitely had one of *the* most important tools of language-learning: self-confidence. When I was his age learning German and still made mistakes like "...,dass ich habe etwas" instead of "...,dass ich etwas habe", I would have been very harsh on myself, and yet he rolls with it.

I also think he nailed my sentiments exactly when he said that you learn a language because you emotionally want to, not because it's obligatory. The story of my language-learning life.

This video though was a real workout for my Spanish. I found Peruvian very difficult to understand.

Did he just say "Glaubst du dass ich habe ein lateinisch Akzent"? He's not fluent yet, but he will be someday.

Yes, I thought that was very funny. I understood it without problems, but I think a monolingual German would probably be confused.

Lateinisch...Is customary to refer to South American accents as Latin, I wonder?
