I have received a request (more like a threatening email in fact) from Simon and Schuster to take down the thread with the Pimsleur transcripts. Thanks for not posting more in the future, they consider it copyright infringement.

So does Simon and Schuster have the transcripts posted somewhere? This site was becoming extremely useful for figuring out just what the heck they are saying on the CD.

It is saddening to see this reaction from a language learning editor. The people who are using the transcripts simply want to get the most out of their Pimsleur programs.

For many the transcripts are a real plus. I know it's the case for me as apart from being able to speak the language correctly I would like to write it well.
Pimsleur should really consider including the transcripts in their product, and leaving us the choice for using them or not.

Perhaps we should draft a petition, sign it online and send it to Simon & Schuster to ask for the transcripts to be made available online or at least as part of their programs?

I'd happily sign on such a petition!
