Much have I travelled in the realms of online gold, and recently in the City of Torentujo I found a number of the Szymon O'Szusta courses going for a song. I sang that song, and so I got to hear the opening lessons of a great many of the Oszusta language courses.
They are called Pimsleur, as you know, and apposite this is, as you need to be sitting back with a glass of Pimms to get the best of it. The same scenario begins each course, some letchy old American guy trying to chat some young native speaker woman up on the bus. "Excuse me, do you speak English?" and so it goes on.
Without a transcript, I'm not sure if the differences between 'k's and 't's are something I'm supposed to be hearing or not. I also cannot remember properly when I cannot see the script. I also have no desire to be illiterate - what chance does being illiterate give me of chatting up native speaker young women on the bus, which seems to be the demographic they aim at?
Also, why does every single course have the same storyline? How can the phrases be being introduced in an optimal order to understand the grammar of so many varying languages? Don't they know that gets very boring after a few goes? Don't they believe that anyone will use their courses to become a polyglot and need to use several of them? Evidently not, and therefore, in consequence, neither do I.

Well they are not exactly the transcripts but I try to cover most of the words used in
their dialogues. Let me know if they help: http://swedish-language-
