Gen. Walters, who was a translator for U.S. presidents, and Director of the CIA at one point in his career, supposedly spoke several languages. Sorry, he was Deputy Director of CIA, and I think he spoke 11 languages, including English.

He served from 1972 to 1976 as Deputy Director of Central Intelligence and from 1985 to 1989 as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations. ... He did not attend a university. ... He spoke six Western European languages fluently, and knew the basics of several others. I have found an interesting website which gives detailed information on Vernon A. Walters.

Wernon Walters is very known on the Brazil. He helped the coup d´etat happened at
