Hi !

I have a problem, I searched all over the net to find a similar corpora like this one:
http://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/c/corpus/corpus?
c=micase;cc=micase;view=transcript;id=ADV700JU023

It is a spoken verbatim text of an English conversation, really nice for developing an
idea how natives are speaking. This michigan stuff is so awesome that I gave up hope
finding anything close to it in German. Most of the German corporas use out of date
interfaces from 1999 and many of them are restricted in some way or lacking spoken
data. Seems like a no go to me.
Can anyone help me with finding something similar of the above ?
Even interviews are great, or videos with subtitles, the emphasis is on live language.

Thank you very much.

ps: I also know about subasub.

Hi, Zb001:

About a year ago, owing to the difficulties involved in providing technical and administrative support to the HTLAL, a new REPLACEMENT forum was launched called http://forum.language-learners.org/ - A LANGUAGE LEARNER'S FORUM . Most of the more active members of the HTLAL have registered on the new forum and it is there that the discussions now take place. I suggest that you do likewise, and that you open a discussion thread using your post above, as doing so would greatly increase the chances of your receiving comments from the members.

Good luck with your search!
