Due to popular demand we have reopened this discussion room that had been closed 2 years ago because of lack of activity.
This room is designed for members to freely discuss in any language they see fit. Make as many threads as you need but try to focus each thread on a specific language if possible, so that other members who study this language can follow the whole thread. I have moved the relevant threads to this room.
As always, trolls, ad hominem attacks (when you make fun of a guy rather than discuss his ideas), offensive material and discussions of religions and politics are not welcome in this forum.
Thank you and enjoy!

May I ask for a Hungarian thread if someone else wants to practice or 'illuminate' people like me who's learning this beautiful language?
Valaki akar gyakorolni vagy tanítni magyarul?

Please go ahead and start the thread, you don't need to ask!

Do you really want to keep one language in only one thread?
The French thread is already over 11 pages long, with different topics mangling with each others. It is unreadable!

I suppose it is OK (even recommended) to ask specific questions in separate threads, and use the general French thread for semi-"off topic" things.

I take that by "specific questions", you mean language-related, and the rest are semi-"off topic"?
But then, the semi-"off topic" ones will still be unmanageable.

Sorry I rephrased the policy, I meant that each thread should use only one language, but you can have as many threads in French as you want!
