Description of what is on the sound file:
These are three of the trickiest vowel sounds to keep apart in the Swedish language. If you manage to hear the difference you probably will have no problems learning Swedish. The first one is the Swedish u sound which is unique to swedish. The second one is the y sound which is similar to the German but pronounced with the lips tighter together. The i sound is nothing strange in itself, but included it because many adults learners of Swedish have trouble distinguish it from the y sound.
