Description of what is on the sound file:
This is me reading from an extract of my Assimil Italian book. I reckon my Scottish accent is still quite prominent, although being Scottish does help with the infamous rolling of the r's!! I couldn't quite get my tongue round the word 'aperitivo', although I shall keep practising more until I get it right.

At the time of writing this, I am currently on lesson 25 of the Assimil course.

Ci sono i signori Dupont: sono francesi, vengono dal sud della Francia. Abitano vicino a Marsiglia.
La signorina Schulz è tedesca, viene da Francoforte.
