My German is coming along, but I don't really regard what I do as study anymore. I just read novels and watch movies. It's certainly a relaxing way to learn a language.

I’ve put German on hold for the time being to cram Danish in preparation for a trip to Denmark next month. Unfortunately, my woefully inadequate level in the new language virtually guarantees my involvement in embarrassing situations galore, which I anticipate will ultimately send me fleeing back to German with my tail between my legs. Either that, or it’ll give me an insane determination to learn Danish.

So, in about six hours, we've got stifa, patrickwilken, Fuenf_Katzen, g-bod, BAnna, Bjorn, AlOlaf and myself.
Not everyone is studying actively, but we have eight honest answers straight away. Given the current state of the forum (look at the statistics), it's an achievement in itself. I'm also still here. German is not my main language but it's going pretty well. I have German classes at work two times a week and I'm also listening and reading occasionally. I should do more though if I want to get back to a good level by the end of this year.
