Is the cyrillic alphabet difficult to master?

The Cyrillic alphabet is very easy to learn if you already master the latin alphabet. And I know you do since you are reading this!

Before you study the intricacies of the pronunciation of Russian, you will have much fun learning that the cyrillic "с" is used like our "S", or that the "р" is much like our "R".

Some characters are beautiful! My favorite is the ж, but others have also fascinating shapes : Я, Ю or the ф

The cyrillic alphabet is not at all an obstacle in learning Russian but rather a motivating factor. However, to achieve the correct pronunciation needs a lot of practice.
