Thanks for all your kind votes to elect me as the clan leader this year, and I hope I don't let you guys down. I think we have an amazing team here, and I'm already postively charged to learn more about all our Celtic languages next year and share our journey online with the rest of the world. :)
It also looks like we've drawn up a new winning name for our team from Connla's Well (an ancient Celtic well of wisdom): 'tis Clan Lugus, so! I've put this in the title for both the team thread and my own logbook now, and will let the TAC organiser Brun Ugle know, if this is ok with everyone.

@Iversen
Would it be possible to add Manx to our available tags and list of study languages?

Only the Administrator can add Manx as a language on the language list, and it seems that the mechanism for adding it as a tag is broken.

G'day all!
I know I'm a bit late introducing myself sorry (good to see you picked a good name for
the group :)). Thanks for the invite.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm an Aussie linguist who spent a solid 8 months
learning Irish every day and travelled to the Gaeltacht in September to activate it. It
was one of the most satisfying things I've ever done as I'm passionate about Celtic and
endangered languages (Irish especially), and I have strong Irish roots.
I've never participated in a TAC before but it sounds like a great way to keep myself
accountable as I work toward a TEG (CEFR) exam next year. I've put Irish on pause for
the last 3 months as I've been here in Korea on a serious mission with that language
but Irish will become a strong focus again next month.
Looking forward to sharing ideas with all of you and hear from your experiences.
Would be great to organize a Google+ hangout sometime too!
Donovan.

Dia daoibh ar fad!
Very happy to be 'Godmother' of the group. I'm a full time Irish teacher at the moment, my father was an Irish
teacher before me. I'm very excited about this group of people who want to learn Irish in 2013. There's a very active
Irish community on Twitter. If you join in there you can get lots of written practice. People are often asking
questions of each other on there also. You can find a lot of people just by searching for Gaeilge or look for me
(Gaelchlar).
Go n-éirí libh!

Ní féidir liom cuimhneamh ar a lán na Gaeilge, ach tá súil agam go mbeidh 2013 a fheiceáil a fheabhsú\méadú. (Cad atá ceart?)
