I'll register for Italian. I AM going to read, at least, "Il Nome della Rosa" and "Il Pendolo di Foucault" in January.

I'm studying Catalan due to the Assimil Experiment, but it turns out that, for some personal and professional reasons, I'll really need to improve a lot my Italian during the next three months. After that, I'll have the great opportunity of learn through speaking to native speakers!!

Does anyone know of a telenovela streaming site? I can't find any, let alone with subtitles.
So far I only know of Hulu but you have to pay, and I can't figure out Univision's site to access previous episodes.

Did you try searching on youtube? Fans put whole series there. For example El Internado (Spanish teenage thriller/drama/terror series, complex plot, no subtitles).

Hi everyone, I decided that even though I am just an associated member of team PAX, I'd still introduce myself. |

Hello, Solfrid! Thank you for the idea. I'm mostly here to cheerlead for all our dedicated TAC folks, but I'll introduce myself too.
I work as a computer programmer in the United States. My wife is French, and we have two very energetic small boys. I started learning French 5 years ago, and I got a little more serious about it this past spring, which culminated in sitting (and passing) the DELF B2. My big inspirations were sctroyenne and microsnout, because they had reached advanced French through dedication and lots of exposure.
But my real inspiration recently has been all the people who've started (or restarted) their French studies this year on HTLAL, and who've made such incredible progress. It's great to see so many of you on team Pax, and I plan on following your logs.
Currently, I'm taking my time with French. I'm doing lots of listening and reading, and I'm speaking it every day. I also try to have at least one other project, such as subs2srs. The projects change every month or two. However, I've been deliberately neglecting my writing, because there's only so much time in the day. For this coming year, I'd love to upgrade my listening and speaking to a solid C1.
Best wishes to everybody for 2013, and may you learn many wonderful things!

I've added sctroyenne to our team list. I had invited her to join before the team was closed, so she's grandfathered in. :)

Since the other Romance team seems to be sorted out now, and you guys all seem to want me
on PAX, I think I'm going to take up your invitation :).
As you might already know, my plans for the year are to get my French to a more advanced
level (aiming for C1 although I still don't know how realistic that is) and my Italian
from intermediate to advanced (B1 to B2). If I either reach these goals during the year
or can't resist the temptation any longer, I'll also take up Spanish.
