@Luso

Sorry. I didn't even notice your links till now. I posted them on the links page at the beginning of this thread.

@Spanky

How interesting. Norwegian roosters say the same thing, only with a Norwegian accent.

I didn't log on here much during the holiday period so missed most of what went on. Let me introduce
myself:

I'm Jack, currently living in the south of the US and originally from the UK. My Spanish is in the B's and
I'm aiming to place it in the C's by the end of this challenge. My Spanish learning has mainly consisted
of spurts of intense study followed by periods of nothing. I'm cranking down the intensity somewhat for
the hope of finding consistency.

I'm an online ESL tutor and have my own business. As well as trying to improve my Spanish (and starting
German) I want to improve my teaching skills and become more of a language coach rather than a tutor.
I'll also be writing about that in my log, which can be found in the opening thread.

All the best to everyone for the new year!

Hi guys,

I've also been busy as my family was visiting for the holidays (first Christmas with my parents in the past 5 years or so). Thanks for the nice answers; I've noticed that the negative comments have stopped so I'll stay registered to the TAC 2013. I've decided to create a new log for the challenge and this new attempt at learning languages.

[URL=http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?T ID=34823&PN=1&TPN=1] Here it is

For the moment, my focus is Esperanto as I thought it could help me get back on track with my language learning; I've read a few interesting articles about the propaedeutic value of Esperanto and I think that it will help in my case. However, I will try to listen to at least 1/2 hour of Spanish everyday though to keep in contact with Spanish because I am not sure it would be very much in the spirit of this challenge or very fair to you guys to register for a language and then forget about that language for a few months. I hope my Esperanto will be far enough that I can shift my focus to Spanish in February or March.

Great links Luso! I look forward to using them.

Here's the link to my log:

Sorry I've been a bit tardy with getting my log underway too. The festive period can really interfere with language learning!

Good luck all!

How would you guys feel about taking one one more newbie learning Spanish. We would then be a 20 members which I said earlier was our absolute max. Since TAC has already started, I don't want to take up new members without asking the team first.
