Hi @Cavesa,
thank you for creating the thread and great to see you as the group's leader! This is my log. I'm a complete beginner with Spanish (I studied it for a couple of months - that means: I listened to the complete set of Notes in Spanish exception done with the beginner series). I cannot anyway study with the beginner resources, because are too unchallenging (being Italian), so I'm working with a B1/B2 grammar and native resources. I can already speak some bad Spanish, I cannot absolutely write it but I can probably follow university courses in it. Two nights ago I made a dream totally in Spanish :) I'm not going to set a specific goal (i'm not going to say: B2 for january 2015). I have anyway different plans, like - read 5 books (I'm now reading 'La Sombra del Viento" - watch 15 movies - complete the B1/B2 book and start the C1 one - ... others to be defined I'm open to advices! I like Team Tapas! Are tapas typical in Spanish-speaking countries other than Spain? (I don't have a lot of experience

Hola a todos! I was in team lobo last year and i'd love to join this team too. I haven't been doing much self
study for Spanish besides reading and watching for the super challenge, but i'm still taking classes at my university. I also am considering a trip to peru this spring...!! so i definitely need to keep up my Spanish and it's nice to have a team to turn to for support/advice/questions/etc. good luck this year everyone!! 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Hola,
My studies of Spanish have been on hold for a while whilst I've been learning French. I don't plan to pick up Spanish again until the latter half of the year. I hope that this is alright with the team captain; otherwise, just let me know. I will follow along and check out everyone's logs once in a while. When I start learning Spanish I will make sure to let everyone know, and I will change the name of my TAC 2015 log to 'My French and Spanish Log [TAC 2015]'. Ok, so here's my log: Log I am currently at an A1 level (I think), but by the time I start I'll probably be back down to an A0/A1 level. My goal is to be at an A2/B1 level (hopefully in the B range though) by the end of the TAC challenge. Using a practical measure, I want to be able to read books in Spanish, even if they are books meant for young teenagers or children. My main Spanish study was limited to Duolingo.com. When I resume my Spanish I plan to simply buy an easy Spanish reader, a comprehensive Spanish grammar guide, and make tonnes of flashcards. Hi guys, I was thinking of delaying the formal grammar study of one month to avoid working on exactly the same
areas than French (I started both the grammar books at the same time). Instead, other than watching youtube videos, movies and reading articles and books, I was thinking to take 2-3 Italki lessons per week for a month (informal tutoring) and ask the tutors not to teach me the language formally but simply to talk with me and correct my errors. Do you think that can work? Do you have any experience of this type, i Italki or not? Muchas gracias :) 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
