Здра́вствуйте is not pronounced clearly by the russians, I think. They "eat" a few letters saying it. Well done on your progress. |

Officially, we don't pronounce only the first в.

If she has made a mistake why don't you just tell her, and explain what is correct, just like you helped with Здра́вствуйте ?

Because I'm not sure it is a mistake. There was even a discussion here about how many cases there are in Russian. And I'm interested to find out what the host of the log means.

Oh, I see.
Since you are a native russian then, perhaps you can start this interesting conversation by contributing the first post with an actual statement instead of a vague question.
I'd love to follow that conversation myself, and learn about the number of russian cases.

Sorry, my bad there; the cases are six in total! I accidentally added one :)
Thanks for the support and help, I really appreciate it! Learning while interacting with
other learners makes the process much more fun!

zografialep: очень приятно. I'm studying russian too.. I'll follow your log from now on.
Здра́вствуйте is tough at the beginning, as пожалуйста, but they are very common words so
you'll get used to it pretty quickly.
до свидания!

Cpasibo Christiano! Yes, now I get a hang of the language I think, and things don't
seem so complicated.
Thank you for the support! I'm looking forward to hearing more from you and your
progress :)
