Would you be able to provide a link to the Russian world series on youtube? It sounds very interesting but I wasn't able to find it. Thanks!

Hello again! :)
Time for my next entry! 11th Day+ 12th Day - 15/05/2014 + 16/05/2014 Again I don't remember much... I need to put entries sooner! Anyway, I'll work with what I have. I did some of the 4th chapter from the '' Teach yourself Russian''series and learned how to say that I can do something, that I must do something or that I'm not allowed to do something- along with new vocabulary. I also learned new useful words from a skype talk with a Russian friend, like lots of food (butter, milk, meat, juice etc), and also learned new things about Russia as a country ( like the fact that it has sea all around it- -- ''но подожди Игорь, в России не есть море!!'' (*facepalm*)посмотри на карте, пожалуйста... haha, I am so awful at geography..xD The poor Russian will think I'm absolutely stupid :P 13th Day- 17/05/2014 On this day I did a revision of what I learned before, chatted on skype and Italki with Russians and searched for songs. My Russian friend showed me some really nice videos with the Russian police singing- and they're good!! It seems very weird to me that the police has a choir- and they sing modern songs, not just for parades!- but as it seems the police/army in Russia also has different purposes. I also found some very nice songs including this Russian Lullaby (it's not a lullaby that they say to their children though- I hope. see the video and you'll understand why!). It is just the creepiest thing I've ever heard... Just look at the lyrics!! Also, I bought a new book (''Τα Ρώσικα για Έλληνες Α' '') which is for greek speakers and seems very nice. It has exercises as well, which is helpful. 14th Day- 19/05/2014 I don't know if I should count that as a ''day''. I didn't do any study in Russian at all... In my defence, yesterday we had elections(for mayors and regional leaders(?) ) in Greece, so there was a hassle, everything was crazy! I'll make sure to get back on track though! Thank you for your support and for reading my log! - Honestly, if I hadn't made this log l would have stopped studying after 3 days... В России НЕТ морЯ. "не есть" = нет, which requires the genetive case.

I haven't uploaded for a long time, sadly.. Truth is that for the time being I have exams
at school, so I study little to no Russian. It's a pity, but I have to make sure I pass the class xD -( no, just joking, I'm not in danger. Maybe just at math and geometry, but anyway) I'll start again once I find some time I can spare :) 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
