Once again I use Georgian, but this is valid for most languages out of the top 10 most
learned. It is not that easy to find 'fun' stuff, and even so, the difficulty of the
language hinders much of the fun.

I don't mean only fun materials but fun techniques though. Don't worry about not being thorough enough and let go of things that ruin the fun. It should feel like "goofing off", not studying :)

Yes, that is an important aspect of extensive activities. They are not lazy, quite the opposite. They require time investment (by the way what was so outraging about the time scale of several years earlier in this thread? Learning a language is a long-term commitment no matter which path you choose), they require some strong will (or ruther resistence to "I don't understand, I'm so dumb" feelings) to get through the rougher beginnings. They require resources, which are much more plentiful for the top 10 than for Georgian, true).

Having fun is, in my opinion, the only way to stick around for long enough for the progress to happen. I wish you good luck finding enough stuff to enjoy in Georgian, I'm sure all the struggle will pay off. :-)
