TAC 2009 Day 150
I'm on page 433 / 591. From tomorrow I will be able to start doing vocabulary again and will have the time to write some more meaningful journal entries.

TAC 2009 Day 152-154
I finished all 591 pages of The Game. I have not read it before in English, and I think it's amazing that I can explain everything that happens after free-reading it in Korean.
I'm currently staying in Barcelona where my high school Spanish isn't helping much with all the Catalan menus, but I did find a Korean restaurant that I'm going to visit to look for some conversation partners.

TAC 2009 Day 154
I went to the Korean restaurant here in Barcelona, and the people there were pretty amazed that I could converse with them easily in Korean. I asked if there were any shops that sold books in Hangul, but they said there weren't any. :(
I came back to our place and started reading 나만큼 미쳐봐, the biography of Korea's most famous pro-gamer, 임요환. This book was originally written in Korean, in contrast to the books I read earlier which were written in English and then translated. The grammar complexity and vocabulary are much more difficult than the other books I have read, but I enjoy the challenge and still understand a great deal. Most of the other books I have were translated from English, so I will have to buy more books originally in Korean so I can continue improving.
I still haven't written my 11 month status update, but I'm waiting until I get back to Kuwait for that.

Who's the author of The Game? There's several novels by that title.

Hi Yukamina,
The Game that I read is by Neil Strauss, and it's the autobiography of a guy who becomes a professional pickup artist trainer. It's a bit slow in the middle but it was a reasonable step up in difficulty from Harry Potter.
