You scored 16.25% on the Language Geek Test! You've earned the title of Language Geek .
Well done! Very humorous quiz. I aspire to be a bigger geek! My favorite questions were the last two.

Yes, it's well-done. The last two questions strike me as paying homage to traditional purity test; various variants of the hacker purity test (not this one), nerd test, and others on other subjects have questions of the sort.

I scored 31.88%, Senior Language Geek, and with no conscious exaggeration in my answers. This is slightly terrifying. I think it was the ability to name an Australian Aborigine language that made the difference. Or perhaps my obsession with foreign scripts...
I possibly need to meet a monoglot woman of surpassing beauty to take me back down to earth. Is Scarlett Johansson still available (joke)

56%! I really laughed a lot, great test! Now I know I'm not the only one who practices strange phonemes in public while trying not to be seen.
The sentence about empathizing with Catalans was not fair, as I'm Catalan and don't consider myself being a geek because of it. But anyway, I've empathized with Basques, so I suppose I actually am a language geek. :P

I must commend you, Sprachprofi, for making this nice test. It seems perfectly logical and very well thought through.

38 point something (I accidentally closed the window) - and I took that as a compliment.

I got 22.5%. Not as big a geek as I thought I was but certainly enough to tell me that I should spend more time on my other hobbies. ;)
