Sounds like an interesting study plan, PurGlossa. Like you, I plan to study Spanish after Mandarin, so I hope you do

Maybe this is more about Christianity, motivation, will and religion than "efficiency" in
the learning method. I mean this could be a good method not because the method itself, but the fact that you are actually mixing two "loved" and "important" things: religion and language learning, so it's the self fulfilling prophecy principle in action (or also called pygmalion effect). I'd prefer another system, even watching T.V. it seems better to (and for) me (more efficient and modern). Well, I'm agnostic so it isn't just due to religious belief. I do find the study of Christianity interesting though,
