1. Reading Anne Frank p. 132
2. 인간 극장. The more I watch this show the more I realize how amazing it is...
Good points.
A. Lots of conversational Korean,
B. Uses subtitles for conversation, but no subtitles for the narrator.
This gives you listening and reading practice.
C. No jokes... just everday conversation.
D. Easy to follow, I think this is a great example of comprehensible input.
3. Memorized some words. Not sure how useful this exercise is, perhaps I should be watching more 인간 극장.
4. Conversation. Getting better. I hear my mother in-law talk. wow, I could understand a lot of what she was saying, father in-law too. I had to talk to my nephew he is 4yrs old. We play together often. Last night, I actually felt I was getting better...

1. Reading. I lent someone my Ann Frank,
So, I started 성서이야기. Bible Stories p. 16
I kind of like this because these are the same stories, I heard when I
was a little kid. It has Adam and Eve, Noah and the Flood, Samson and
Delilah. These are all from the old book. So, I am not religious,
but I do enjoy these types of stories. Actually, I was really getting
sick of Ann Frank...
2. Listening 인간 극장. This is really helpful....
3. Memorizing. Not much.. I think just doing this, twice a day for 15 min is enough,
4. Conversation. Not much.. Just some with my Nephew.
I feel my reading is getting better, but I have a long way to go. Same with Conversation...

1. Read, Bible Stories p. 26
노아와 홍수
2. Watched 인간 극장
Also, watched some Iris, this is a really bad show, sometimes i really hate Korean Dramas.
Wherever, you live US or Korea, anywhere, you have to listen to, and watch real
garbage...
In the US: Reality TV, idiotic stars... bad tv.. etc...
In Korea: Stupid starts, Iris, reality TV, bad dramas.. etc...
It is all the same, everywhere you go.....
3. Memorizing, I think I am going to use Anki, for my "Handbook of Korean Vocabulary"
Reading is not enough to make the words stick in my head, I need to know the word
roots too.
If I were learning Spanish, I would not need this, but for Korean, I feel it is
necessary.
Key point, I am not studying hanja, but rather just the roots...
Anki: Front Side: 동심
Back Side: child's mind
children, mind
4. Conversation: some with my family in law.
My father in-law, bought 족발, but not just 족발, It was a different part with almost no meat. He also, bought durian,,, He loves durian...
So, not I have 두리안 in my 냉장고.
I like this stuff too... 과일의 왕

I ENVY YOU!! And I hate you that you made me crave durians now. I already have enough things to crave; butter chicken, shahi paneer, kulfi, chicken curry roll, fish patty, papadam, hot butter cuttlefish, steamed prawn in garlic sauce, mangosteens, rambutan... and now DURIANS TOO! :(
By the way, there's a reason why your father-in-law is giving you durians, as an Indonesian saying goes, "durian jatuh sarung naik", meaning "the durians fall and the sarongs come up". :P
And well done for having figured out stupid TV patterns in Korea. However, it's the silliness in it all that makes me laugh. I don't engage in it, I just laugh AT the people in the shows. 지붕뚫고 하이킥 is quite decent though.

My father in-law lived in Indonesia, for 5 years. He says he can speak the language well. He said he watched lots of TV and talked with lots of people to learn.
I like, 하이킥...
Next time we meet,
I'll bring 두리안....

I wish I had the time to study Korean like you are. I'm learning vocabulary at a fast pace (400-500 words a month) but I don't get that much time to solidify it and really absorb more of the language.
But then again I apparently spend an average 55 hours a week on the internet. Break that habit and I'll accelerate my Korean like no one's seen before. :P
