Jiwon, how have you been?
Lets find sometime to catch up..
I went to US for a week.
I realized... I have got to get out of Korea...
한국 탈출 is my motto for this year...
So, I decided to go back to school in USA.
Anyway, I will be here for another year..

A. Korean
1. Reading books finished 10 Korean childern books.
Starting to read newspapers...
2. Sitcom 지붕뚫고하이킥. Watch one episode a day.. then listen to it on the subway.
3. Conversation.. not much practice lately.
4. Sometimes look at 연세 book.
B. GMAT
Working through the math review now...
Everyday study about 30-35 minutes..
I find this fairly easy.. I was always better at Math than language..
C. Spanish.
Just a little about 15min a day.
Everyday....
This is also, much easier than Korean..
Easier to hear.. Easier to remember... just damn easy compared to learning Korean..
So much easier I cannot even consider Korean and Spanish in the same league.
Learning Korean is like playing Major league baseball.
Learning Spanish is like Tball.

1. Started 동화 책 80가지 이야기
Also, 몽테크리스토 백작
I find kid stories difficult due to the sounds of children Korean adjectives, and other silly words..but this is "real" Korean
So, I would say 동화 can be more valuable than, 몽테크리스토.
2. Still watching Sitcom and now an Animation.
3. Conversation.
4. No grammar.
B. GMAT
Need to do more this weekend...
C. Spanish...
Very difficult to put time in this after all my other projects... Missed one day and I feel really bad about that..

Feeling good....
1. Korean...
I read 성경 이야기 2...Bible Stories 2.
I finished the book...then read it again.
The first reading was tough...
The second reading was easy. I remembered most of the words and I read it almost 3 times as fast.. mostly because I dont have to stop and look anything up.
2. GMAT
I am still doing a little everyday...
Big progress, but I have a long way to go.
Like what is the square root of 1.69... I need to get to a point where I can do that without thinking.
3. Spanish.
I am sorry to say. I cannot find enough motivation to do this everyday.
Especially, when I live in Korea, and am still learning Korean..
Also, I have various responsibilities to my family, and this is not high on my priority list.. I will however, continue to acquire more resources, so in the future I can start again...

1. Korean... listening to dramas on my MP3 is very very usefull... I listen to about 30 different 20 min episodes everyday on my bus ride to work...
Also, at work I try to watch at least one animation a day...
Bought some children books, still focusing on Korean not hanja...
2. GMAT... Gmat is way way easier than Korean... And progress is much faster.
All, my Korean practice has made my study habits stronger...
And has made GMAT study more productive..
Just take the same basic principles of language study and apply to Gmat.. and blam.. big gain...
I did Critical Reasoning. day one.. I missed most problems..
The next time I almost got them all correct...
Language study has taught me to be patient..
Also, it has improved my English reading skills...
