I mainly see classical authors, among the names I recognize. Where/what is the problem - are these more recent translations that aren't public domain, does it have modern books under default copyright, or...? 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Ahh, that's a pity. I guess I won't add it then - the list is meant to filter on legality, so that the widest range of people feel comfortable using it. For some reason the texts on lib.ru always use the character e for ё. An alternative site is

OlafP: In native materials, the Russian ё is quite often replaced with e. The pronunciation is still that of ё, though.

Actually the letter Ё is almost never used in modern Russian literature for adults. Any text with Ё really looks bad and obsolete. With all that you shouldn't substitute Ё with Е when you pronounce those the words with Ё :)) The only good thing about Ё for learners is that this letter is always stressed in Russian.
