So I haven't done much due to schoolwork :(, but I've got a lot of time this weekend, so I'll post some goals for

Also heute möchte ich diesen Entrag ganz und gar auf Deutsch schreiben (und den Deutschen, die den lesen:
könnt ihr bitte meine Fehler korrigieren). Ich habe nur einige Einträge hierbei geschrieben, aber ich habe so viel gemacht. Deutsch: Zuerst, ich möchte schreiben, nur worüber ich diese Woche machen möchte. Ich möchte die nächste Kapitel von "Mastering German Gramman" in Anki beiladen. Ich will auch mehr Vokabular von die nächste Kapitel von meinem Sachbuch, das ich für Schule benutze. Ich möchte auch drei Kapitel von "Der Seher des Pharao" lesen. Ich möchte auch etwas lesen, und irgendworan hochladen, also können die Leute hier meinen Akzent bewerten, soweit möglich. Ich höre auch deutsche Podcasts zu, also hoffentlich wird das mit meinem Verstehen helfen. Russisch: Letzte Woche fing ich mit dem Princeton Russischen Kurs an. Ich möchte am Samstag mit der ersten Kapitel fertig sein. Danach kann ich mit der zweiten Kapitel anfangen. Ich denke, dass ich auch ein Vokabularbuch kaufen werde, aber es gibt kein genaues Datum dafür :P. Griechisch: Ich habe nicht so viel dafür gemacht, ich muss den Hörfile noch abholen. Ich denke, dass ich das sehr bald machen werde, wenn ich genug Zeit habe. Vielleicht morgen kann ich das machen. Ich habe einen Freistunde. Polnisch: Ich bin jetzt fertig mit der ersten Kapitel, und morgen werde ich das neue Vokabular eintragen. Ich bin am Samstag lieber fertig damit, also kann ich mit den Übungen anfangen. Danach kann ich schneller mit Polnisch gehen, weil ich so viele Gelegenheite habe, zu sprechen. Also die sind meine Sprachen zusammenfassend für diese letzte Woche, und hoffentlich wird mehr aktiv sein.... Bis nächstes mal! 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

BLECH XP!
Jetzt habe ich Examen (die "Midterms" auf Englisch heisst). Sie sind nicht so schwer (ich habe nur 2 pro Tag fuer 4 Tage), aber sie gehen auf die Nerven D:<! Sie macht mir total gestresst :(. Leider kann ich nicht so viel mit Sprachen machen, wenn ich Examen habe, aber nachher gibt's nicht so viel fuer Schule zu tun, also ich werde ganz viel Zeit haben, meine Sprachen zu lernen :). I have Exams right now (they are called Midterms in English). They're not so difficult (I only have 2 per day for four days), but they annoy me! They make me so stressed out. Unfortunately I can't do so much with Languages when I have exams, but afterwards I don't have to do so much for school, so I will have so much time to study my languages. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

WOW! Ich habe etwas eigentlich gemacht. Ich habe ungefähr 60 Wörter oder so in Anki eingetragen. Ich denke, dass
ich das heute lernen kann, aber ich weiß einfach nicht, weil ich noch für Examen lernen muss. Ich kann später hier schreiben, aber ich weiß nicht, ob es sehr lang sein wird. Bis dann! 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

My god. Despite having TONS to do (its still exam week, I just have a snow day today), I have still managed to
somewhat keep up with some language studies. German: Well I have been keeping up with my Anki (which is rare, it's scary, a new leaf is turning). I've also been entering quite a lot. I entered another section of Mastering German Vocabulary into my German deck, and I'm actual quite (somewhat) satisfied with the (slow) progress I have been making in improving my work ethic. I'm STILL a bit torn on grammar studies. Using Schaum's or this REALLY REALLY GOOD but REALLY REALLY THICK grammar book called Hammer's-something-or-the-other German Grammar. Schaum's is REALLY too simple for me, but I have a feeling I'd get too bored with the Hammer's too quickly. One GREAT upside to it is that is has lists of example words for plurals and such (like it'll give both forms like der Bogen, die Bögen). It gives lists of these to show how to make certain plurals, and adding those lists to Anki has been TREMENDOUSLY helpful (I only added one or two of the lists). I'm just afraid I'll get bored with it... OH WELL, it'll work out, I just have to find time to do it :P. Russian: I added about a hundred (or so) words from the Princeton course. The great thing about this first Chapter is that it is going over the Cyrillic alphabet, so it's chalk full of vocabulary, for which there are recordings. They're not a part of the regular vocabulary lists, but they are quite interesting works (umbrella anyone?), and since I don't need to focus on the grammar in this first chapter, it's PERFECT :D! Anyways, I'm going to try and make some good progress with that and get to a working level. And surprisingly, I spoken in Russian with my Georgian friend, and it was effortless. I made one STUPID mistake (I forgot the word for brother DURHHHH), but other than that, it was a good conversation, and I felt confident when speaking. Polish: I entered (FINALLY) the lesson 2 vocabulary from Spoken World, and I'm planning on getting started later today. The grammar topics are mostly noun/adjective agreement and verb conjugation (I think, I only glanced). Anyways, I hope to make short work of this Lesson, and hopefully get to lesson 3 by this weekend. I'll try and get some sidework done with Greek and Georgian, but I'm not making any promises. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Today was somewhat of a language filled day :).
German: I spoke a LOT with German friends, and I wrote an essay. I THINK I added some words to Anki (I don't remember). I was actually thinking in German for MOST of the day (something that hasn't happened since I was in Germany), so hopefully getting together with German people more often will help, forcing me to think more and more in German. I actually had somewhat of a headache because of it, so hopefully that headache phenomenon will go away once I begin doing it quite a lot. Russian: I did a LOT of pronunciation practice today. I literally practiced for about an hour. I actually now have somewhat of a headache because of that as well. OH MY GOD WHAT IS WITH ME AND HEADACHES D:? Anyways, I slimmed down my Anki to only words from the wordbanks of the lessons. It just makes it simpler. My accent practice actually made me feel like my Russian was improving...but now my mouth hurts. Sorry other languages :(, nothing to report... WOW I'm actually tired. YAY! Once again I got stuff done! Unfortunately I still have exams so I have to still study for them, but despite
that, I've been able to dig into my languages pretty well. German: I reviewed Anki, and I added another two sections from my vocabulary book. The first was on daily body activites, and the second one was on object related activities. I have four more sections until I finish this Chapter (Chapter 2). I actually really like this vocabulary book. The only think I'm going to whine about is that it doesn't have the plurals for every noun. I kno that you can discern the plural from the gender, the word type and blah blah blah, but it'd be so much more useful if It gave all of the plurals. Russian: I am planning on doing a little more listening later, and then perhaps surging a little more ahead in the lessons. I'll write here later what I've done if I have time.
