I am back on track with my FLR weekly timeline. I got through all of my second chapter for the week, so I can
devote today and tomorrow to the third chapter of the week. I am really enjoying the repetitive audio and also
applying the same concept to my vocabulary (I am only adding one chapter worth of vocabulary a week). I think
this is resulting in a stronger knowledge of the words because I do not have hundreds of words competing for
new space in my brain all at once.

@Magictom123 so far I like FLR, the pace is good for me. I always struggled in classes because they tend to
move to slow for me, whereas this covers quite a bit in a good amount of time for me. This soon into it I cannot
really tell you how much I am retaining, but I feel as though things really cement in during the writing I do at the
end of the week and through the listening throughout the week. I have not seen the Croatian gentleman, but I
have watched a bunch of Moses' videos. I must admit that I do not strictly adhere to the plan, namely in that I do
not do the keywords which are his first step.

Today was a recovery day for me. What I mean by this is that since I work overnights, the first day that I do not
have to work I generally use to sleep, a lot. I also take advantage of these days to spend some time with my
girlfriend, since we do not do much during the week due to our contrasting work schedules. Still, some time is
better than no time. Tomorrow I plan to get through the final chapter of the week for my FLR. I am also pleased
to see that my weekly average this week was over an hour a day. My goal for the next week is to get my weekly
average over 1.25 hours.

Did more than yesterday, but still did not get as much done as I would have liked. Luckily, I go back to work
tomorrow night so I can get my last chapter for the week done tomorrow and then do my writing exercise. I also
finally found an Al-Jazeera feed that does not skip today, so that was happy.

Had a group of rowdy Canadian youth hockey players at the hotel last night, so I didn't get a whole lot of work
done. I still need to finish my final chapter from last week and then start this week's work tonight.

I finished my final chapter from last week today, finally. I need to go to sleep at this point, since I had to stay an
extra hour at work and I haven't slept in about 20 hours. Upon waking, I am going to input my new chapter's
vocabulary and phrases into Anki. Then my other goals included getting at least a half hour of listening, a half
hour of Arabic TV and get through the first chapter of the week. If I can actually do all this, it should amount to
about two hours of study or more. I want to adjust my studying so that I do the listening, watching and Anki
work at home so that I only have to do the book work at work. I think that this will result in a better use of my
time and I will be less likely to fall asleep watching Al-Jazeera. I would really like to be able to fully understand
their coverage of all the current events and happenings in the Middle East currently.

I am picking out more and more during Al-Jazeera and am enjoying the progress I have been making as of late. I
need to make sure to do some writing practice this weekend, especially since I did not get to it last week.

I am finally back in the "green"! By this I mean back over one hour a day on average. I have noticed that per
every three chapters there is always one that is forever and a day long. My plan is to try to finish the second
chapter and make good headway on the third chapter for the week tomorrow. My semi-long term goal is to get
my average studied time up to one and a half hours since I am over the 1:1 ratio. I feel as though I am learning
a lot now, I just do not know how much of it is going to stick. I unfortunately do not have a lot of opportunities
to practice Arabic with actual native speakers. The two people I know who are from Egypt tend to be surprised
when I talk to them but will not speak back to me in Arabic.
