How are you doing, do you get a lot of Spanish practise still?

@ Solfridcristin: Well, I just got three days of intense conversation practice, but now I'm back to my old, boring life ;). I should see my Spanish friends either in Paris or Brussels within a month though, so I'll get a bit more practice, but I'm still not completely fluent, and sometimes I give up on trying to say something :'(. One day I'll go and actually speak it, but for now I can use it and that's way better than a year and a half ago.

I've watched quite a bit of Spanish TV lately, and read a bit too, but... I won't be going to Paris after all, and probably not to Brussels either. :'(. I really, really still want to try to get to Brussels but there's little chance I'll be there the full week (8-15 oct, world revolution, for those interested ;). So not so much practice to look forward to... I'm going to try going to international conversation groups at a bar near university in my town, but I don't know which nationalities will be there, so we'll see...
I'll also try to get back into Russian, except if my plan to build an English vs Arabic exchange group works...
Cheers to all and good luck!

Look forward to seeing you on the Russian wagon again, and if not, Arabic is awesome :-)

So far the language café has only yielded English, but one woman there apparently used to be fluent at Russian, so I'm still hoping she'll talk to me, even if she's not as fluent as she used to be. My Tunisian friend didn't come this time, but maybe some other time...

@ Cristin : not so far. I've only been to the café twice though so maybe when things quiet down on the political front I'll be able to go. Then again with the presidential elections looming up... X/
I've been practicing playing the guitar in my free time, which means I'm not studying Russian. I think I'll stick to it though, and however long it takes, I'll eventually speak it. Will get some reading practice as that's the most easily accessible kind and the primary reason I'm learning Russian and then I'll see what else... I'll keep studying a looging next year but I don't think I'll take part in the TAC formally as I won't be able to study regularly.

I don't get too much regular study either, but since we are doing the studying for our own sake, and other people are just there to make encouraging noices, that is O.K. :-)
