Well, this is pretty much it.. Rather not a successful year, I've forgotten more Russian than I've learnt Spanish, and now I'm still not truly fluent at either (my B2 in Spanish holds on the strength of my comprehension mostly). In Russian I'm at the point where I sometimes understand (or guess) what people are saying and just answer in French, because I've forgotten all of my active vocab apart from "Я толко тчут-тчут говорю по- русски", "Я не понимаю" and "Я не знаю как сказать", which I'm not even sure are correct but I know are understood because they're the only sentences I ever use. I'm soon going to forget "спасиво" as people don't tell me my Russian is good anymore...
Oh well. One day I will go to both Spain and Russia, but of course right now I'm only starting to work freelance so there's little chance I'll be taking any long holidays this summer or next year... The problem being that I don't work enough during the year to save money, so then I can't take holidays. If I could just bunch up all of my work in one big period, I'd probably only be working 4 months a year (I'll do that one day!). So, you might think that in my free time I could study languages. Except I've gotten into politics and I'm pretty much doing a full time of that beside my job now... All this is pretty new though so I'm sure I'll get organised eventually. I'm not going to participate in the Team TAC next year because it would be unfair to my teammates as I already know I'm not going to study regularly, but I'll keep writing in this log for now and I'll try to keep in touch. Dear joanthemaid, you have been a great teammate, and you have helped me no end cheering me on both before and after we became teammates. If you ever want to come to Norway for a trip, let me know. We always have a free room for guests!
