Language(s) you plan to study: Nederlands.
Your current level(s): Very much a beginner. I've been trying over several months, but I keep losing focus. And pronunciation is killing me/ baffling me.
Your goals for the challenge: I would like to be able to move past the few sentences I know and actually be able to carry on at least a minor conversation with my (Dutch) boyfriend. I also would like to force myself to work on pronunciation. Those g's and certain words (huis? Seriously? I can't say huis?!) kill me.
Whether you would like to be on a team or an individual participant
I would prefer to be on a team, since I feel like it might motivate me more than attempting on my own.

I miserably failed at the 6 week challenge that I undertook for German this November.
Alarmed at how I'd started wasting increasingly longer amounts of time on getting
distracted by Twitter, I stopped updating my progress after the first couple of weeks.
Hopefully this will work out better! My goals for 2012, in a nutshell, are:
German: A2 to B2
Spanish: A1 to B2
Russian: A2 from scratch
I'm not completely sure about the mechanism of the TAC. Do I create a different log for
each language that I'm studying? If not so, then which language do I select from the
drop-down menu when creating the log? The one I'm studying most meticulously or the one
in which I'll be writing my posts? I'm sorry for sounding so clueless.
I've already signed up for serpent's Romance+Slavic Team Žá, but I'd really love to
join a German team as well (if it's allowed to join more than one team, that is).
Please count me in. :-)

It was really awful year for my studying:
I just want to make it better next year, I tried to do more than language at the same time and I'm apparently failed, so I want to to one language this year and If I did any progress (like C1 level in English!), I will do that every year!
So If there is a team for English, I'm in!
If not, I can be participated as individual!
thanks!

AlephBay, one log for all your languages will fully suffice.
By the way, is there going to be a list of all the TAC 2012 logs? Or do you think it wouldn't be useful?

I would like to sign up again this year.
I will be mostly studying German!
I don't think there is a solely learn German team so if that's the case I'm happy to go
it alone.
I'm not sure which level I'm at or what level I want to aim for. I'm bad. Shoot me.

I definitely think it would be useful to have one for easier access and to distinguish
which is which.
