do you use twitter only for the langbots?

Yes. For me, RSS feeds are much better to get news and I still don't see how following other people could be interesting or useful :-))

The new round starts on March 15!!! The registration still isn't open but lordsilent seems to be working really hard and it's expected to start on time.
Is anyone else looking forward to it? I'll be reading Italian, Portuguese and Belarusian this time. It'll be a shorter two week round.

Registration for the Mar 15-31st Tadoku round is now open!

For anyone new to this, or who hasn't done it recently...

The "Update page" entries for Dec 31st, 2012
http://readmod.wordpress.com
has the URL http://ReadMOD.com for the new app, where you can register.
(Once you've registered the address will bring you to the current "ranking" page.)

Edited to add: the upper right corner of the rankings page has a link
for people to submit their entries if they have trouble using (or prefer not to use) Twitter. However, you don't get
to use tags or add comments if you're using this non-Twitter method.

"How to" page is http://readmod.com/manual, though there may be
some outdated info., such as the omission of the two points above.

Happy Reading!

I missed signing up for this challenge! What a shame, especially since i've been reading so much lately. I'll just have
to look forward to the next one i guess!

Some news about the future challenges: the next one-month challenge will be in July (because the only time there was a full challenge in summer, the scores were epic). Therefore the May round will be a half one (most likely in the second half of the month), and then the following round will be in October.

The month-long round in summer has been changed to June, with no round in May :)

So that's the current plan:

Round 1: January 1st - 31st
Round 1.5: March 15th - 31st
Round 2: June 1st - 30th
Round 2.5: August 15th - 31st
Round 3: October 1st - 31st

August will be my German-only round, then. Well, also Swedish and/or Dutch, but I'm not used to these languages at all and will mostly read German anyway.

I still haven't done a Portuguese full-month round so this will be one of my langs in June. Not sure about the rest yet, though most likely Belarusian and/or Croatian :) Time for a Croatian 6WC, I think.
