nope, with language you can use various tags: #Spanish, #spanish, #espaƱol, #esp will all count the same. and if it doesnt recognize the language tag it won't count the update at all.
i *think* commas are trimmed from the tags...

So, to clarify: I should just use #multilingual and nothing else if I want my time to count, correct?

are probably different things, but I'm not sure. I suggest you don't take such risks.

This brings up another question I have:

Since I registered with multilingual, is this the tag I should use for all my entries, or can I also tag #pms with it, even though it's not a language the bot understands?

nope, it'll take #pms as an additional tag. i used this one myself last time to track how efficiently i study during pms XD
before your language is added, use the #Multilingual tag. and don't use it for other languages.

You also have to specify the activity, otherwise it will count as #other. And I was replying at the post before yours.

You hadn't quoted who you were replying to, so I thought you were answering both our questions in the same response.

Regardless, you answered my question, so thanks for that.

Have you registered with multilingual because your language isn't listed? Or because you hope to submit different languages under that tag?

I ask because you are supposed to register with a single main language, but you can submit work for as many languages as you like. The bot tracks two scores: the highest hours in the chosen language, and the total hours.

EDIT: just to clarify, I'm adding what Sprachprofi said about the multilingual tag:

you don't care to disambiguate.

I registered with #Multilingual because the bot doesn't understand the language I wanted.

I'd rather have something registered generically than outright incorrect (a suggestion was made to use another language code).
