For some reason I'm unable to get this bot to
register me.

My messages have been along the lines of #register to learn #Spanish and I work #part-
time. Sent three so far, no indication that I've been accepted. What am I doing wrong?

I cannot see your registration tweet. Did you write @6wcbot? Is your Twitter account
protected maybe, so that people can't read your tweets? If so, either make it public
for
the challenge or follow the bot and wait for it to follow you back before you register.

I did write to @6wcbot, but my account was protected. I'll lift the protection for now
and give it another shot. Thanks for the help!

I'm in for French. (Yep, even after I just signed on for Cristina's Super Challenge for Spanish!)

I will be learning/teaching German starting the second week of June with my friend's daughter (since they are moving to Germany next year), but that won't be until the fifth or sixth week of the challenge.

Can someone point me in the direction of a link with twitter information? I've never used it before, so this'll be new for me.

For twitter and 6WC information look here.

Nice to see you participating, Kerrie. :) If you need help with learning/teaching German feel free to ask.

I'm in with Armenian this time (and hopefully will make it through the whole 6 weeks...).

I have finally decided now: I will enter with Russian again. I was so tempted to do Greek, since I had not done anything with that yet, but I feel I need the extreme focus that a 6WC gives me, in order to push Russian on until I can actually do something with it. I do not know whether I could be pushed from an A2 to a low B1, but I think the last one pushed me from A1 to A2, so I have high hopes. Besides, I think I would have struggled to split my focus on two languages. Since I am doing Russian for the Super challenge, and I am still struggling so hard to read even simple sentences in Russian (where I got the hybris from to believe that I can read 100 books in it, I do not know) I need to do the same language for the 6WC.

I saw that a couple of my teammates have also entered with Russian - are there anyone else doing Russian?

I'm officially studying Russian now, but not for the 6WC. Maybe later in the year, though. =)

Well, I am happy that you are studying Russian anyway - I love converts :-)

Solfrid Cristin! I'm considering Russian or Norwegian:

1. My brother is getting married June 1 to a Norwegian girl and her family and friends are coming from Norway for
the wedding. Norwegian will officially be a part of my life! I don't want my future nieces and nephews to talk about
me in Norwegian..
2. I need 6 weeks of focus on Russian, badly. My B2 is becoming B1 when I should be moving closer to C..
3. I would do BCSM but June 4 I'm starting an 8 week intensive BCSM course (IU SWSEEL) and figure I should spend
this time on a different language.
