I like Team Dinamo. It sounds energetic, no diacritics and if
I remember correctly it's the name of the Zagreb football
team.

I'd much prefer Hajduk, if the name has to be the same as a Croatian football team,
mostly because it isn't mainly the name of a football team (sadly not something I care
about at all), but also a term denoting a kind of robber/highwayman/freedom fighter
(accounts and perceptions vary) in Balkan history.

Do we have to do something football related? There are other things in life besides football, aren't there?
(Okay, maybe not for Serpent, but for the rest of the world!)
I could deal with Hajduk, but I like the vulture (sup) and donkey (magarac) ideas better, because they have more meaning behind them.

I've never actually watched a football/soccer game the only reason I know about Dinamo is
because I saw them briefly in the Croatian news playing in the snow and mud. So I'm
definitely not attached to a football name.
However, I'm against donkey. One because in Spanish donkey is slang for being dumb and
a slow learner and two because I can't hear or read the word magare without thinking
about Shrek.
So hajduk or any other name that the majority likes is cool with me. Just not magare/
magarac or anything having to do with donkeys.

Would you folks be averse if I were to stop by at some point? Even though I have stated earlier that much of my enthusiasm for BCMS/SC has been sapped by Balkan nationalism and overt hijacking of language planning policy to match ideological chimeras, I may need to brush up my BCMS/SC if a potential trip in 2013 to the former Yugoslavia becomes reality.

Call yourself Tovari :D. That's a bit more vulgar name for a donkey, and it is used by
Dinamo's fans to somehow describe Hajduk's club.
