Hola amigos! Feliz año nuevo!
Today I started my 2014 sentence mining extravaganza with my first 10 ANKI sentences. Took me about 2 1/2 minutes. So far so good.
Most boring log post of all time? Perhaps. I will try to find a way to spice them up...
Maybe a joke?

Thanks for reading.

Ay caramba.
And to think, I actually laughed.
But only a little. :D

Hola!
I got the flu on 1/2/14 and have been super sick. Needless to say, I have been slipping on my languages. No more! Today I am going to rededicate myself to languages! I am going to continue my ANKI reviews and MAYBE even delve into a little grammar study and/or TV watching in Spanish.
Wish me luck, I'm going in!

I'm so ashamed of myself. I got behind at work while I was sick and so I haven't had much time for languages. I'm getting caught up, so my study time should become more plentiful as a result.
So, my update? Not much. A few ANKI reviews and that's about it. I am hanging my head in shame.
I hope for a more productive update in a few days.

So, I've been working through the BBC interactive series "Mi Vida Loca" and I must say it's a lot of fun. It's super basic and quite a bit below my current Spanish level, but I have found it very helpful and kind of challenging without subtitles. I am really enjoying it (on the second to last episode) and honestly at this point that is what I'm looking for.
I've been doing some self-talk and preparing myself for my first Spanish Meetup in about a Month or so.
