Expug, I'm comfortable reading Chinese books, but my reading speed is still abysmal, ca.
4-5 minutes per page. That is why I couldn't complete the challenge last year (also it
was 100 pages to a book then). Good luck to you! Let me know if you need recommendations
of relatively easy Chinese books.

Thank you, Sprachprofi. If you have any recommendations apart from the Chinese Breeze
series (which is hard for me to get hold of), I'd be happy to hear. I'm going for a half
challenge, so that means 1/4 of the original SC. Maybe I won't manage it, but I should
push myself towards it because I've been neglecting this skill for too long, seeing how
easy and nice it is to just watch Chinese series.

Ok. You know you are all out of your mind, right :-) Here I recommend one language only, and then most of
you register with 3-4 languages. Well, unable to resist the peer pressure, I am giving in, and will add a half
French challenge to my Russian challenge. I will stop there at the moment, and will then see if I have the
capacity to add more languages later on.
LANGUAGE: Russian
CHALLENGE: Full
CURRENT LEVEL: A2
COMMENTS: My level was too low last time, I am hoping to succeed this time, and look forward to seeing
many participants join in!!!
LANGUAGE: French
CHALLENGE: Half
CURRENT LEVEL: C1-C2 speaking and listening, C1 reading, B2 writing
COMMENTS: Even the not completed Advanced Challenge I attempted last time did absolute wonders for
my French, so I am hoping it will give it an even greater boost this time.

For those wanting to discuss resources, make recommendations or ask for resource advice, BAnna has started a Content Recommendations SuperChallenge thread. On the first post, she has links to new pages on the wiki that she has set up for anyone to make recommendations. But use the thread for discussion purposes.

LANGUAGE: Spanish
CHALLENGE:FULL
CURRENT LEVEL: A2
COMMENTS: I have been studying Spanish off and on for 5 years. I am indecisive so I
usually switch between languages which leads to me not learning any languages at a
reasonable level. I am committed to learning Spanish this time. I love reading and
movies so this challenge is perfect to help me raise my Spanish level. Super excited. I
am starting with Don Quijote. Also there are several parallel text on this site :
http://www.novelas.rodriguezalvarez.com/index.php/listado-no velas Mainly in Spanish
but a few in other languages.
