I have read about experiments with a savant name Christopher, where the experimenters (Smith and Tsimpli) tried to find out whether conlanguages that respected the proposed universals were easier to learn than conlanguages that didn't. And for the purpose they constructed such a language and called it Epun. The whole question about savants and inborn language modules has also been treated in a paper by Elizabeth Bates, among others.
