This could be really cool. I only joined this site this year, and I've not been super active though I'd intended to be...hmm..I've been curious about TAC for a several weeks now, I couldn't seem to find a Sticky or anything explaining its origins etc but I'm glad I found this thread. :)
Count me in. I think that my languages will be Spanish and Japanese. I also want to break into Esperanto properly. I need to find a thread where all the rules are explained. I'll begin working out a study schedule now so I will have all the details worked out by January 1, 2010.

So hold up - I'm a bit new to this - is there a winner? And who determines it?
Also, how often should we post in our logs?

We haven't decided any rules for a winner yet, but the winning team is one where all members complete the TAC. As everyone has their own learning style, I don't know if we'll find a universal metric to measure success. I think completing a study year to your own goals is challenging enough.

Generally, the more quality posts the better, but once a month seems to have become the minimum.

I'm not sure that there will be anyone who I can be grouped with? Perhaps I'll post on the team thread, and if anyone can group up with me I'll go with the team - otherwise I'll do the individual TAC. I need it this year I think!
I'll be continuing my studies in Hungarian - I need to advance to an 'employable' level and a level high enough to function well in Hungary, before I go in Dec 2010.
Other than that, IF I find a team, I'd be willing to start either German or perhaps Swedish (undecided, but perhaps grouping would decide that for me). This s more to experiment on how much I can achieve in a language in 1 year, starting from scratch.
However, if I don't find a group, I'll likely just stick to Hungarian.
